Listen to the voices of casual workers! 220 people say no to revision of Temp Agency Law

On April 18th, the Nation Committee to Establish the Rights of Casual Workers, Labor Lawyers Association and its Tokyo Chapter held a meeting  in the Diet building to say no to the revision of the Temp Agency Law. . The venue was changed to a bigger room to accommodate the 220 participants. The highlight of the meeting was the appeal from 9 casual workers. One of them, HIROSE Akemi, a plaintiff of the Japan Red-cross Staff Service case, said holding a banner, “I want to make my serious case public and share it with everyone.” Everyone in the audience was convinced that the law cannot be changed without listening to the urgent voices of the casual workers, whose lives are going to be affected by the law.
