Open-air streaming begins—Ustream program‘Tent color’sends anti-nuclear news every Friday

 

A new information dispatchbegan on Sept. 14 at the tentin front of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. A studio is set up outside and MATSUMOTO Chie (Labornet TV) and KOBAYASHI Ai (Tent member) interviewed Democratic Party of Japan member HASHIMOTO Ben and former nuclear engineer, FUJIWARA Setsuo, for the first ever show. The program plans to regularly send anti-nuclear message in various ways; interviews with politicians, messages from people of Fukushima and anti-nuclear events across the world. At the end of the show Friday, a visitor to the tent from Indonesia was interviewed. The program is to air at 4 p.m. (JST) every Friday rain or shine. (M)

「あおぞらUST放送・テントひろばから」始まる～毎週金曜・脱原発情報を発信

 経産省前テントひろばから、新たな情報発信が始まった。9月14日午後4時、テント前に野外スタジオが出現し、キャスター席に松元ちえさん（左・レイバー ネット TV）と小林愛さん（右・テントスタッフ）が座った。第1回のゲストは、脱原発を表明している民主党国会議員・橋本べんさんと原発技術者の藤原節男さん だった。番組は二人を中心に、国内外の脱原発イベント情報を発信した。またテントに立ち寄ったインドネシア人にいきなりインタビューしたり、金曜デモの風 船配りの田中康夫議員が登場するなど、野外放送ならではのハプニングに満ちた番組になった。配信の技術協力は「レイバーネットTV」で、ジョニーHさんも 歌で協力した。「あおぞらUST放送」はこの日を皮切りに、毎週金曜日夕方、テントひろばで行われる。（M）

Place to meet warm hearted people—a year anniversary of METI Tent

A year anniversary event was held on Sept. 11 at the Occupy tent in front of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI Tent).

“No one ever knew that this tent was going to stand here for the whole year,” FUCHIGAMI Taro held a microphone and spoke in front of the crowd of about 700 people. “I planned for 10 days. Why did it last this long? It’s because nothing at Fukushima Daiichi explosion has been resolved. Until the day we see the problems solved and mysteries unveiled, we will stand here. We call it, ‘Tent of Justice.’”

A woman from Fukushima interviewed by Labornet TV said, “When I come to this tent, I meet people who are thinking wholeheartedly about the future of Fukushima and Japan. This is a place where you can meet warm-hearted people.” People took a minute to speak about what they wanted to say. Some 80 percent was women. You realize how women are the drive behind this movement. (M) 

日本の良心に出会える所～経産省前テントひろば1周年を迎える

 9月11日午後、脱原発「経産省前テントひろば」1周年イベントが、テント前で開催された。淵上太郎テント代表がマイクを握る。「だれ一人このテントが1 年も存続するとは思わなかった。私も10日くらいのつもりだった。でもここまで続いたのはなぜか？ それははっきりしている。3.11以後、何ひとつ原発事故の問題が解決していないからだ。だからテントは存続する。これは正義のテントだ！」。レイバー ネットTVは参加者にインタビューした。福島から来た女性（写真）はこう語った。「ここに来ると福島のこと、日本の未来のことを本気で考える人がいる。こ こは日本の良心に出会える場所だ」と。この日の集会で1分アピールがあったが、その8割近くが女性だった。テントの運動は「おんな」が支えていることを実 感させられた。 （M）

 

Freedom on Internet!—Protest against ACTA at Akihabara

People gathered in Akihabara Electric Town, Tokyo, on Sept. 9 to act against Japanese government that ratified ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement) as the first country in the world, which most of European countries opposed. Although the crowd was small with about 30 people, the demonstration was joined by Anonymous members and passersby. Campaign against ACTA, emceed by “Creamy Mummy” in costume, had story-telling on ACTA and leafleting. The agreement is to police any copying or pirating, but oppositions warn that internet will be monitored and controlled by authorities.(Johnnie H)

 ネットに自由を ! 秋葉原電気街でACTA反対抗議集会

 9月9日（日）午後2時から3時間に渡って、東京・秋葉原ラジオ会館前で「ヨーロッパの国々が反対したにも関わら ず、ろくな議論もせずに世界で初めて日本がACTAに批准したこと」に抗議する集会が開かれた。日比谷公園から有楽町までの反ACTAデモに参加したアノ ニマスメンバーも合流して約30人で始まった集会だったが、道行く人たちが立ち止まり、クリーミー・マミーのコスプレをした司会の「えみむめも」さんの呼 びかけや、爆猫さんのわかりやすい丁寧な説明に熱心に耳を傾け、「ACTAが決まるとどうなるの」紙芝居をじっくり見たり、ACTAの説明ビラを読んだり していた。配られたビラは1000枚を超えた。（ジョニーH）

We don’t need Osprey!—10,000 people surround Diet in solidarity with Okinawa

We don’t need dangerous Osprey! About 10,000 people held each other’s hands to surround the Diet building on Sept. 9 in solidarity with Okinawa People’s Rally. Sidewalk in front of the main gate was flooded with people in red, color symbolic to this action. When the organizer announced that more than 100,000 people were attending Okinawa rally, people in Tokyo applauded and the voices of solidarity echoed. “It is the Japanese government that forced danger for a long time to Okinawa,” TAKAHASHI Tetsuya said at the event. “But we have the responsibility. We have to raise our voiced in the central Japan where politics takes place.” Many participants of this demonstration were from anti-nuclear movement. They saw the root of the problem was the same and criticized Noda administration. (M)

オスプレイはいらない！～沖縄に連帯して1万人が国会包囲

危険な普天間基地に危険はオスプレイはいらない！ 9月9日、沖縄県民大会に連帯する「国会包囲」行動が午前11時から取り組まれた。議事堂正門前は、労働組合や市民団体など様々な旗が林立し人波で埋まっ た（写真）。シンボルカラーの赤を身に付けている人も多い。主催者が「沖縄現地集会に10万人以上が集まった」と速報をアナウンスすると、大きな歓声と拍 手が起きた。集会で高橋哲哉さんは「沖縄に長い間危険を押しつけてきたのは日本政府だが、それを許している私たちにも責任がある。本土のわれわれが声を上 げてこの国の政治を変えよう」と呼びかけた。正午すぎには約1万人の参加者が手をつなぎ、国会は完全に包囲された。脱原発金曜デモの参加者も多く、「同じ 根っこの問題」「デタラメ野田政権は許せない」の声が聞かれた。（M）

Philippine-Toyota workers visit—interview on Labornet TV

President and an executive member of Toyota Motor Philippines Company Workers Association visited Japan on Sept. 15 through 19 to participate in the community union rallies, to submit demands at Toyota Motor Co. main Aichi headquarters, and to lead the action against human rights violation at its Tokyo headquarters. The two members appeared on Labornet TV ahead of their actions, along with WAKATSUKI Tadao, president of All Toyota Union, and talked about how No. 1 automaker of the world is also No. 1 in violating human rights and bullying its workers across the world. While Wakatsuki talked about how his members have been fighting against Toyota and its subsidiaries to respect workers rights, the two of TMPCWA members revealed violent oppression of their members by Toyota and difficulties they face in surviving after the company unfairly dismissed 237 union members.

今年もフィリピントヨタ労組が来日、レイバーネットＴＶに出演
  今 年もＴＭＰＣＷＡのエド委員長と現役組合員の２名が来日し、９月１５、１６日京都で開催されるコミュニティ・ユニオン金国交流集会に参加。続いて１６ 日～１７日にかけてトヨタ愛知本社等に対する要請行動、そして９月１９日のトヨタ東京本社前行動（東京総行動）を行った。それに先だつ９月１３日夜、エド委 員長はレイバーネットＴＶにトヨタ資本と真っ向から闘う全トヨタ労組の若月忠夫委員長とともに出演し、自動車生産世界ナンバーワンのトヨタが日本で海外で いかに労働者の人権無視の弾圧「いじめ」を行っているか、237名の不当解雇の後、労働者がどのように闘っているのかを語った。
