Yunta’s cover with original lyrics echoed in front of Tokyo MX television
station on Jan. 26. This was the third protest action we took since the station
broadcast on Jan. 2 a program on the current situation of Anti-US base Movement
in Okinawa. This program portrayed the protesters as “the radicals who receive
money from Tokyo.” Yasu, who travelled from Okinawa said he was really
surprised to see the news program. “They lied about everything. The protesters
never disturbed or blocked ambulances as the station claims, nor do they ever
attempt to do so. We demand that the station file a correction, an apology and
investigate this news program,” he said in anger. NISHITANI Osamu of Rikkyo
University also criticized how Tokyo MX was receiving support from the Internet
right-wingers. “They (MX) aired the same take-on of the Okinawa issue as the
right-wingers. This is definitely something the press should never do.” Some
120 people as well as the press were gathered for the protest. As neither Tokyo
MX nor the production company DHC Theater sent a proper response, the protest
is only to get bigger and more widespread. (By M)

イ 弁当持参であしたも座り込む サー電波でウソをつかない で」。 1月26日昼、安里屋ユンタの替え歌が、TOKYO MX前に響き わたった。この日はTOKYO MX「ニュース女子」が1月2日に放送 した「沖縄基地反対派はいま」の報道に抗議する3回目のアクショ ンだった。この番組は反対派を「金をもらって本土から来た過激 集団」として描いている。 沖縄から駆け付けたヤスさんは「本当に驚いた。番組
をみたが一から十までウソだった。反対派が救急車を止めた事実 などまったくないしあるはずもない。訂正・謝罪・検証を番組を 求めたい」と憤る。立教大学の西谷修さんも「ネット右翼の人が TOKYO MX激励に来ているが、MXはあの人 たちと同じ主張をニュースとして流した。これは報道機関として
やって はいけないことだ」と強く批判した。この日は120人の市民と多く のメディアが集まった。 TOKYO MXと制作元の「DHCシアター」からもまともな回答がな く、抗議行動はますます広がる気配である。（M）
