Asian Women Workers’ Exchange held in Tokyo Guests from Korea, HK and India

I attended an open meeting of an international symposium titled “Current Situation and Challenges Faced by Asian Women Workers ~ Connecting and Being Connected Now and Future” held at Meiji University, Tokyo on 27^th October. 80 people, including guests from South Korea, Hong Kong and India, participated. The meeting was proposed by CAW Net Japan, that has connected women workers in Asia and Japan for 30 years. 9 organizations, including Asia-Japan Women’s Resource Center, Action Center for Working Women, Precariat Union, set up an organizing committee to prepare the symposium. アジア女性労働者交流集会開かれる～韓国・香港・インド・日本が参加

 
10 月27日（日）、東京・明治大学研究棟でひらかれた「アジアの女性労働者の現状と課題～今をつなぐ、未来につなげる～」オープン・ミーティングに参加しました。韓国、香港、インドからのゲストも含め約80人が参加していました。30年にわたってアジアと日本の女性労働者をつなぐ活動を進めてきたCAWネッ ト・ジャパンの呼びかけで、アジア女性資料センター、働く女性の全国センター、プレカリアートユニオンなど9つの団体が実行委員会を立ち上げ、共同での取り組みでした。（尾澤邦子）
