Young Koreans rising up against President Park: OZAWA Kuniko reports

I went to Seoul from August 14^th to 16^th, to attend the August 15^th Liberation Day ceremonies commemorating the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonial rule in 1945. Because this is also the day on which began the separation of South and North Korea, many rallies and demonstrations are held for the reunification of Korea. This year, 23 people from all over Japan participated, including junior high school students.

 I was impressed to see that there were many young participants, so I asked one of them, “How do you organize young people?” The answer was, “They are awakened by the misgovernment of President Park Geun-hye and rise up themselves.”

In Japan, the Abe government is also bad, but young people don’t see his lies and deceptions. (OZAWA Kuniko)  

パククネの悪政にめざめた若者たちが活躍〜韓国訪問レポート

8月14〜16日、韓国のソウルへ行ってきました。8月15日は朝鮮半島

が日本の植民地支配から解放された解放記念日ですが、南北分断が

始まった日として分断克服、統一実現のための取り組みが進められ

ています。毎年大規模な大会やデモが行われ、日本にも参加が呼び

かけられています。今年は、東京、大阪、京都、沖縄から、中学生

も含め総勢23名が参加しました。若い人たちが多く、パワフルに活

動していることも、うらやましく思いました。フォーラムに参加し

た韓国人に「どうやって若い人たちを組織しているのですか」と聞

いたところ、「パク・クネ政権の悪政に覚醒し、自分たちで立ち上

がって動いている」とのこと。日本の安倍政権の悪政はひどいもの

だと思いますが、その嘘やごまかしや暴走が、若い人たちに伝わっ

てないのではないかと思いました。（尾澤邦子）
