There will be no privacy! Opposition to the My Number system

A new social security and tax number system will start from January 2016 and a personal identity number will be allocated to everyone from this October. There was a rally held in Tokyo on 3^rd October to oppose the introduction of this new system. 400 people attended the rally sponsored by “Citizens’ network seeking to abolish social security and tax number system” and held in Miyashita Park, Shibuya. One of the twelve representatives of the network, SHIRAISHI Takashi, made the main speech. He has been called to meetings all over Japan and has spoken about the dangers of this system. Under this system, citizens will be able to apply for an identification card called “My Number” and if over 80% of the people gets the card, then everyone has to always carry the card. He said that there was a steady rise of interests in the new system, although many people are still unaware of the system. (Y)

プライバシーは丸はだか！～マイナンバーに反対する全国集会開かれる

マイナンバーの通知開始が目前に迫る10月3 日、東京・渋谷で制度に反対する集会とデモが開かれた。

主催は「共通番号いらないネット」。さわやかな晴天に恵まれた会場の宮下公園

北側広場に、約400人が集まった（主催者発表）。午後2時。全国集会の最初に、

白石孝さんから主催者挨拶があった。同ネット12人 の世話人の一人。「全員が

横並びで対等な関係」と前置きした。白石さんは全国各地の集会や学習会に呼ば

れ、問題点を解説してきた。仕組みへの無理解や不安も含め、人々の関心は確

実に高まっているという。制度は「番号付与」と「個人カード」の二本立てで、

世界最悪の システムと言える。もし国民の8割がカードを受け取れば、その所持

が義務化され、さらに常時携帯へと突き進む。（Y）続き

Nationwide campaign starts to postpone enforcement of ‘My Number’ in October!

 “My Number,” social security and tax number system, takes effect on Oct. 5.

 It is considered dangerous because “My Number IC card”--to be issued in Japan in the near future--may be used to manage and monitor citizens and may lead to spoofing fraud once it becomes accessible to private sectors.

 Based on the pensioners’ personal data leak as well as substantial delay of preparation and publicity of this system, our group, “We don’t need ‘My Number,’” is demanding to postpone its enforcement on condition that the system is to be entirely reviewed. 

 We have prepared for this campaign a four-page leaflet, which is a A3-sheet folded in the center. We hope you use this leaflet, which is available at the price of 5 yen each.

 戦争法と表裏一体のマイナンバー制～参院採決に抗議する

 8 月27日、参議院内閣委員会は、年金データ流出で6月4日以降、審議が中断していた番号法及び個人情報保護法改定法案の審議を再開、即日採決した。内閣委 の委員には社民、維新がいないので、賛成が自公民、日本を元気に、次世代が賛成、共産、生活の山本太郎議員のみ反対した。なお、民主党から年金データとの 連携を延期するという、本質とは大きく外れた修正案が出され、着地したという経過だ。なお、付帯決議に、個人番号カードの公的個人認証機能利用時の本人確 認方法について、生体認証の導入を含め、より安全かつ簡易な方法を検討、という内容を盛り込んだ。いよいよ、自公民で、市民管理に生体認証を推進する動き が出てきたわけだ、戦争法と表裏一体のマイナンバーという認識を示しぜひ持ってほしい。なお28日夜、参議院議員会館で院内集会（写真）を開催し110名 が参加。採決抗議、10月実施延期、制度の全面見直し、違憲訴訟運動について取り組みを進めることにした。（白石孝） 記事

We don’t need social security and tax number system

A group called, “We don’t need ‘My Number’” (Citizens’ network seeking to abolish social security and tax number system), held a general forum on Feb. 20 and 21 in Tokyo to kickoff the campaign against the new system. The group was launched with 80 participants from Okinawa, Osaka, Aichi and Shizuoka prefectures, as well as the metropolitan area. On the second day, they discussed how to push this movement forward. Separately from the existing Resident Registration Cards, the 12-digit Individual Numbers (dubbed “My Number”) and the 13-digit Corporate Numbers will be newly set up in October. My Number IC card will be issued in next January. The new system will be used to manage and monitor citizens under Abe administration, which aims to reform Japan into the nation capable of engaging in warfare. The system, to be used in both public and private sectors in the future, is considered dangerous as it may lead to spoofing fraud.  (SHIRAISHI Takashi) 

  
マイナンバーなんかいらないよ！～今秋の強制付番反対・全国運動がスタート
 
2 月20日～21日、都内で「共通番号いらないネット」（正式名称：共通番号・カードの廃止をめざす市民連絡会）の発足集会と全国交流集会が開催された。 20日の集会には、沖縄、大阪、愛知、静岡および首都圏から80名が参加して同ネットが発足、21日には今後の運動を進めるための意見交換を行った。住基 ネットとは異なる新たな12桁の個人番号と13桁の法人番号が今年10月に強制付番のうえ、通知される。そして、来年1月からはＩＣ仕様の個人番号カード の交付が始まる。この新たな番号制度は、安倍政権の戦争が出来る国づくりの一環として、住民管理の道具として使われる、また、将来的に官民分野にまたがる 利用が目論まれ、なりすまし被害にもつながりかねない危険なものだ。（白石孝）
