Protest action at Metro Commerce

 

On March 23^rd, the Tokyo District Court handed down an unfair verdict which upheld discrimination against limited contract workers. The plaintiffs were kiosk vendors working for Metro Commerce. The Tokyo Tobu Union Metro Commerce Local went to the company's head office on April 19^th to raise their voices against discrimination. The President of the Union, USHIRO Yoshiko, said, “We were discriminated against by the court and are full of anger. We will transform our anger into determination to fight. Kiosks in the Tokyo metro are now run by Lawson Metro, not by Metro Commerce. The limited contract workers have been forced to leave their jobs. I cannot forgive the company. I will fight till the end to get a safe job and a reasonable wage.”  Union members and supporters tried to get in the office to negotiate with the company, but were blocked by security guards. 「非正規差別」不当判決には屈しない！～東京メトロ本 社に怒りぶつける

非正規差別を公然と認める3月23日の東京地裁不当 判決から約1か月。東京東部労組

メトロコマース支部は不当判決に 屈することなく、4月19日昼、親会社の東京メトロ

前（東京・上 野）で「非正規差別をなくせ」と再び元気な声を上げた。後呂良 子支

部委員長は、「私たちは司法に差別された。憤りで一杯だ。で もこの憤りを運動と

して広めていきたい」「メトロの駅売店は、 ローソンメトロスに変わり、全店が閉

店になった。いままでの契約 社員は賃金や移動でも差別され、自分から辞めるよう

に仕向けら れている。会社を許すことはできない。安心して働ける賃金の実 現を目

指してしぶとく、したたかに闘っていく」と決意を述べ た。怒りにもえた当該と支

援者は、話し合いを求めて会社入口か ら入ろうとしたが、ガードマンが立ち塞が

る。そこで人々はその場 で「非正規差別をやめろ！」「労働者の尊厳を守れ！」

「不当判 決に屈しないぞ！」などのシュプレヒコールを上げた。（佐々木 有美）

Victory for Malugo workers fighting for their jobs

 

Five members of the Malugo branch of the National Union of General Workers, Tokyo Tobu have been occupying a model gun shop in Tokyo since the end of last year to protest  closure of the shop. On 28^th February, the union signed an agreement with the company stating that the company will retract the unfair dismissal, turn over the shop inventory to the workers as severance payment, and  lend the workers a nearby shop   so that they can continue the business. This is a victory for the workers who didn’t give in and for all Tobu Union members and supporters. The new shop “Take Five” will open in early March near Ueno station. (SUDA Mitsuteru)

東部労組マルゴー支部の職場占拠闘争が解決！～新店舗「Take Five」で雇用を守る

上野・アメ横でモデルガンなどを販売しているミリタリーショップ「マルゴー」 の

労働者でつくる全国一般東京東部労組マルゴー支部の組合員５人は、昨年末から一方

的な店舗閉鎖と全員解雇に反対するために職場占拠闘争を続けてきましたが、2月28

日、社長との解決合意書を締結調印しました。不当解雇を撤回し、職場占拠していた

マルゴー本店の在庫商品を社長が退職金として組合員に譲渡し、組合員自身が今後行

う営業再開のために社長がアメ横で使用権を持つ本店とは別の店舗を貸与するという

のが主な解決内容です。泣き寝入りせずに最後まであきらめない組合員５人の体を

張った闘いと、東部労組よってたかっての団結、全国の労働者の支援で、組合員の職

場と生活を守ることができました！ なお、同支部組合員が営業を行う新店舗はマル

ゴー本店よりも上野駅寄りにある区画で、新たな店名は「Take Five」です。３月上

旬をめどにオープンをめざしています。（須田光照）
