All unions raise their voices against revision of Worker Dispatching Act

As deliberation of the revision of the  Worker Dispatching Act started on October 29^th, sidewalks in front of the Diet building were packed with Rengo, Zenroren and Zenrokyo union members holding their union flags. Speakers raised their voices against the revision which will force agency workers to work as agency workers for ever. Rengo Vice-president AIKAWA said, “By this revision, contingent jobs will increase and more young people will lose hope for their future. We have to kill it!” NAKAJIMA Yumiko, Secretary General of the Nation Union of General Workers Tokyo Nambu, criticized the Women Empowerment policy of the Abe government. “Women have been cheated all the time. The gender equality level of Japan is 104^th in the world and lowest among advanced countries. We will not be cheated any more. Down with this revision, which will lead to slave labor!” ENDO Ichiro of Joint Job Action told the reporter, “the loss and degradation of jobs under Abe is devastating. His lies won’t be swallowed any more. The three labor federations and labor lawyers are all fighting against the revision. We can scrap the revision by a united labor and public opinion”. (M)

「生涯ハケン」の派遣法改悪は許さない！～国会前「オール労働組合」が声上げる

「生涯ハケン」に道を開く派遣法改悪が委員会審議に入った10月29日、国会前の歩道は連合・全労連・全労協の組合員とのぼり旗で埋めつくされた。集会では怒りの発言が続いた。「改悪は不安定雇用が増え、将来に希望の持てない若者が増えるということ。何としても粉砕しよう！」と檄を飛ばす相川連合副会長。安倍の「女性活躍政策」に対して全国一般なんぶ書記長の中島由美子さんは「女性たちは騙されぱなしだった。いま日本の女性の地位は世界104位、先進国では最下位。もう騙されない。奴隷労働に道を開くこの法案は絶対に許さない」と声を震わせた。雇用共同アクションの遠藤一郎さんは、記者にこう強調した。「安倍の雇用破壊はひどすぎる。もう嘘っぱちは通用しない。いま3つの労働団体や弁護団が一緒になって立ち上がった。“オール世論・オール労働組合”で派遣法改悪はつぶせる」と。（M）

Sendai tent set up to stop the restart of Sendai Plant

On September 26^th, a tent to stop the restart of Sendai Nuclear Power Plant was set up on Gumisaki Beach, which is at the back of the Plant. 14 people, including members from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry tent city, set up 7 tents by 2 p.m., as a base to stop the restart of the Sendai Plant. On the next day a “tent declaration” was issued, saying “The restart of Sendai No.1 & 2 plants will be the first among the planned restart of nuclear power plants nationwide. This tent symbolizes our firm intention to stop it”. A tent blog went online on October 25^th, disseminating information of the tent activities.

川内原発再稼働を何としても止めたい！～「川内テント」が本格稼働

鹿児島県・薩摩川内市の川内原発裏手にある、久見崎（ぐみさき）海岸に「川内原発再稼動阻止テント」が9月26日に設置された。その日の午後2時ころ「経産 省前テントひろば」のメンバーら総勢14名により、本部テント1棟、個人テント5棟、簡易トイレテントの7棟のテントが建てられた。ここが川内原発再稼働阻止の「拠り所」になる。9月27日には「テント宣言」を発表し、「川内原発1、2号機の再稼働は、現在停止している全国の原発の再稼働の突破口となるものです。何としてでもそれを止めたい、という意志と行動が、このテントに込められています」と述べている。そして2回の台風などのアクシデントが続き遅れていたが、このほどブログを開設し本格的に情報発信を開始した。10月25日に発信された「川内テント報告3・4」を紹介する。

Fictitious story made up by rightists: WATANABE Mina

Labornet TV on Oct. 8 aired the program entitled, “Don’t rewrite the history of ‘comfort women’!” Taking advantage of the report of Asahi Shimbun’s “false testimony of YOSHIDA,” the Abe administration attempts to spread propaganda that the Asahi report formed the international public opinion on comfort women of the Japanese military during the World War II. But WATANABE Mina, the executive director of Women’s Active Museum on War and Peace, showed that it is entirely a nonfactual “made-up story.” She contradicted Abe’s propaganda by giving concrete evidence one after another that “the comfort women issue” began spreading with the confession of KIM Hak-sun, a wartime comfort woman; that the wartime brothels expanded not only in Korea but also all over Asia; that the Japanese Imperial Army documents described the procurement of “comfort women”; and that the films vividly illustrate testimony of comfort women. She said with anger, “We can’t let them rewrite the history. What we should do now is to summon the former prime minister NAKASONE Yasuhiro and others responsible for opening wartime brothels to the Diet and to elucidate the truth. ”

事実に基づかない「右派のつくり話」～レイバーネットTV「慰安婦特集」で渡辺美奈さん

10月8日のレイバーネットTVは、「『慰安婦問題』歴史の書き換えはダメ！」を放送した。安倍政権は「吉田証言虚 偽報道」をここぞとばかり利用して、朝日新聞の報道が国際世論をつくった、と喧伝しようとしている。しかし「女たちの戦争と平和資料館」の渡辺美奈さんは、それはまったく事実に基づかない「つくり話」であることをズ バリ示した。キムハクスンさんの名乗り出から「慰安婦」問題が広がったこと、韓国だけでなくアジア規模に広がっていた慰安所の実態、「慰安婦」調達を示す陸軍文書、そして慰安婦自身の生々しい証言映像など、次から次 へ具体的証拠を示して反論した。「歴史の書き換えは許せない。いまやるべきことは、慰安所をつくった中曽根元総理らを国会に喚問し真実を解明することだ」と怒りをこめて語った。また二部では雨傘太郎氏が登場し、香港 オキュパイ運動の背景・意義をわかりやすく解説した。（レイバーネットTVプロジェクト)
