Maritime Safety Agency deployed 14 patrol boats and 33
rubber boats in the sea of Henoko, Okinawa Prefecture, on Nov. 21. According to
YAMASHIRO Hiroshi of Okinawa Peace Movement Center, Maritime Safety policed the
area as much as the beginning of boring survey in August. “The
central government intends to forcibly conduct the survey while ignoring the
Okinawan public consensus,” Yamashiro said. Although activists on more than 20
canoes protested and tried to block the area in the ocean, no arrest was made.
In front of the gate, people sat lying down and locking arms with one another to
block the trucks delivering sand and materials for construction of floating
bridges. They fought against the special forces that tried to break the scrum.

ごぼう抜きにめげず抵抗つづける～11/21・11/22辺野古レポート
11 月21日の辺野古の様子をレポートする。海上に海保は巡視船14・ゴムボート33を配置した。「海保の警備の規模は、8月ボーリング調査開始時とほぼ同じ になっている。政府は沖縄の民意（県知事選での翁長氏の圧勝）を全く無視しボーリング調査を強行するつもりだ」（沖縄平和運動センター・山城博治さん）。 海上では20数艇のカヌー隊が抗議活動を展開したが、拘束者は出なかった。ゲート前では20日同様に、浮桟橋設置のための土砂搬入、資材搬入のダンプを止 めるため、ダンプの前にスクラムで立ちはだかる、ゲート前に全員 が寝ころぶ、そして道路真ん中に2列縦隊で座り込む（長さ約60メートル）など工夫を凝らし、機動隊の実力排除にめげず無暴力、実力闘争が粘り強く続けら れた。（佐藤茂美） 11.21～22現地報告
